The ranch has a good population of birds, making for a fun hunt in thick timber and mountain conditions. Per the National Wild Turkey Federation, Rios are the most likely subspecies to be found in Pueblo County. Merriam's may also be found, especially with our proximity to the San Luis Valley to the ranch's immediate west.
Licenses for turkey are available over the counter here in Unit 84.
Turkey hunters are always welcome to send us an inquiry to check what we've been catching on cam. We'll do our best to update our Field Notes as new photos come through, so be sure to follow our listing.
At this time, lodging will be limited to on-site tent/truck camping, which will be available as an optional add-on to our hunting packages. Hunters will also have the option to commute from nearby lodging options in Beaulah, Colorado City, and Pueblo.
