Waterfowl Hunters are invited to hunt the ranch's water sources. The canal will probably be the best bet for ducks and geese, in addition to our access to the Judith River and ag fields.
There's also great opportunity for pheasant and other upland birds at the ranch. We have portions of the ranch that consist of tall grass, which provides great cover for birds. Farm ground serves as a source of food as well for birds.

We are proud to be a 3rd-Generation Family cow/calf operation based here in Central Montana's Judith Basin County. In addition to running cattle, we also do some haying and other farming.
Our ranch is located in a very scenic part of the Judith Basin with the Little Belts to the southwest and the Big Snowy Mountains farther to the southeast. A stretch of the Judith River runs through our pasture and irrigated hay ground, to make for a lush haven for wildlife in our area. The Ackley Lake Feeder Canal, a hotspot for waterfowl, also runs through the ranch.

I grew up hunting for whitetail deer with my dad along the Judith River and for elk in the Little Belt Mountains. Those moments I spent with him are times that I'll treasure forever. Now that I am a dad, I want to be able to offer a great place to hunt, so that others can make their own great memories. I think our place has something magical about it and I think you will too.
