Our property currently features a small, well-maintained food plot that serves as a valuable resource for local wildlife, enhancing the biodiversity and supporting a thriving ecosystem. It's a welcoming haven for deer and other creatures, providing essential nutrients and forage to sustain them throughout the seasons. In an exciting development planned for 2025, we aim to expand our food production efforts by establishing additional food plots adjacent to each of our stands. This strategic approach will not only enhance our hunting experience but will also create a more inviting habitat for wildlife, reinforcing our commitment to conservation and responsible land management. While we work towards these enhancements, it’s important to note that the area already boasts abundant natural resources for food. Lush vegetation, mast-producing trees, and diverse native plants provide ample nourishment for wildlife, ensuring that they thrive even in the absence of multiple cultivated food sources. Our vision of a well-connected network of food plots, combined with the area's rich natural offerings, promises to create an even more vibrant and ecologically balanced environment for years to come.

Nestled within the serene landscape of our property, we are fortunate to have two notable springs and a picturesque pond that serve as vital water sources for the surrounding ecosystem. The first spring is a reliable, year-round water source, bubbling forth with fresh, crystalline water that sustains the local flora and fauna throughout the changing seasons. This spring, along with a second seasonal spring, enriches the environment and supports a dynamic habitat. Excitingly, we are planning the addition of another pond in 2025, which will further enhance the biodiversity and water availability on our property. This new pond will complement our existing water features, creating an even richer habitat for both local wildlife and future visitors. For those seeking adventure, a short walk through the expansive Mark Twain National Forest reveals an abundance of springs and creeks, enhancing the overall beauty of our region.
