Come get some target practice at one of our prairie dog towns! Our sprawling landscape is home to three well-established prairie dog towns spread throughout the ranch.
Prairie dog hunting is available exclusively in July and August, when activity peaks across the towns and visibility across the open terrain is at its best. We have plenty of long-range opportunity.
NOTE: Due to extremely dry conditions common this time of year, all vehicles must remain on designated roads at all times. This rule is strictly enforced to reduce fire risk and protect the ranch.
We are located just over an hour outside of Steamboat Springs!
Our family sheep operation is proudly located in Moffat County, Colorado, encompassing over 6,300 acres of rolling grasslands mixed with steeper mountain country that reflects the rugged character of northwest Colorado.
The ranch is part of a long-standing family operation with roots tracing back to the early 1900s, when our family immigrated from Kaloskopi, Greece and settled in the Craig area. Drawn to terrain that mirrored our family's mountainous homeland, we built a sheep operation that has grown through generations of steady work. Today, we manage both sheep and cattle across the ranch. With nearly 10,000 breeding ewes and 2,800 breeding cows, the operation remains focused on sustainable practices and long-term stewardship of the land.
