Unit 4 Spring Turkey Hunt (KS Residents Only)at Walnut Creek Encounters
For spring turkey, Walnut Creek Encounters is in unit 4. This is a draw unit available to Kansas Residents only. No Non-resident Turkey Hunting permitted in this unit.
We have hosted hunters here for years, who have enjoyed great success in their Whitetail and Pheasant hunts. The ground is perfect for turkeys. Our packages can accommodate a minimum of two hunters and a maximum of six hunters.
Price includes hunting for $100 per person per day and two nights of lodging for $100 per night.
Unit 4 is closed for Fall Season.
Turkey Hunters will most likely see Rios here in Rush County.
Archery Season: 4/3/23 - 4/11/23
General Season: 4/12/23 - 5/31/23

The corn adjacent to the creek bottoms looked amazing this year. The grass in the ungrazed areas was 1-2ft tall and with the well maintained timber, this property is extremely huntable. You can walk right out the back door of the house and be hunting turkeys and deer.
