The property is located in South Region Zone 5 here in Wayne County.
Our acreage has big potential for hunters. It will hunt large. You could have as many as 4-6 hunters in there hunting different areas and you would not be hunting the same deer or affecting the other hunters in your group.
Our creekbottoms and the mature timber that runs on both sides of the water are the best spots to get on deer, as it provides a reliable and huntable traveling route for big game. During the rut, this property sees a lot of travel along the creeks.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
We do have a field that is currently in beans on the property.
We also have a patch of woods that was recently logged and would provide great bedding and staging areas for deer that would be easily hunted.&nbsp;
The south side of the property along should offer some great hunting as well. Fence rows leading to the crop fields to the south hold potential especially during early season.&nbsp;

Big Muddy River Hideaway is the perfect spot for your next hunting vacation!
The property is located in Illinois South Region 5 for whitetail.
The property is comprised of close to 25 acres of agricultural croplands, with about 40 acres of huntable woodlands and riparian habitat along the Big Muddy River. The remaining acreage is where our family's house and shop are located, along with our lodging accommodations. This part of the property is on the eastern edge of our acreage and doesn't disrupt the rest of huntable ground.
We have multiple tree stands/elevated blinds set up with game cams as well. We've had good hunting and deer numbers over the years.&nbsp;
Our packages are set up to offer multi-day experiences with options to add lodging. We ask that all groups have a minimum of two hunters.
