Hunt waterfowl at Woodward Farms.
Our main listing consists of just over 750 acres of prime habitat. With pasture ground, row crop, and timber, our terrain is perfect for wildlife. The property also features some excellent water sources. We have ponds scattered throughout in addition to some swampy marshlands on the west end of the farm. Our marshlands are surrounded by thick tall grass, which should provide great cover for waterfowl hunters. Cold Springs Lake is also right by the property.
We are happy to accommodate guests looking to camp or bring an RV.&nbsp;

Waterfowl Shoot just outside State Park: PRIME Ag Ground

Hunt waterfowl over our live water on the Otter Creek. Migratory birds also have plenty of food in our ag fields.
The farm is located in the North Zone for waterfowl.
Bird dogs welcome.
This is a great property for hunters coming from Des Moines or from up north in the Twin Cities (less than 2.5 hrs away).
While we don't have any on-site lodging or camping opportunities available, there are some local airbnbs, including my aunt's guest house. Please reach out, and I can connect you.&nbsp;

The farm is located in Iowa's SOUTH waterfowl zone.
The property boundary includes about 18 acres of cropland and is also surrounded by neighboring ag fields and water sources. We see migratory geese all the time on the farm, especially with our proximity to the Mississippi River.
