Go left at the barn, then a hard left to the grassy path leading to the camping area near the tall trees overlooking the south end of the lake. Campsite #1 is the first site on the right. Campsite #2 is right next to campsite #1 and campsite #3 is about 30 yards further west and to the left. Campsite #4 is the furthest West and faces the pasture. For Campsites #3 & #4, it is easier to go left off the gravel path before it curves back right toward our barn (particularly if the ground is wet or muddy). There are numbered camping space signs on the sites. Please verify if there are burn bans in Cooke County Emergency Management before having a campfire in a designated fire ring. Make sure you have your own bathroom facility with you. When exiting the property, you may need to use the keypad again to open the gate if the trip line does not open the gate (can be finicky, approach slowly).

Nestled in the rolling prairie of Valley View, Texas, our 26-acre ranch is a peaceful retreat where land, water, and wildlife thrive. Once a neglected pasture overrun with mesquite and honey locust, we’ve restored this property with care—rehabbing the lake, replanting native prairie grasses, and building a place where nature can flourish.

The heart of the ranch is our 6-acre lake, stocked with large-mouth bass and perfect for casting a line or simply enjoying the stillness. Our hay pastures hum with life, and our thriving bee colony produces delicious, local honey. Whether you're fishing, birdwatching, or relaxing under a Texas sunset, you’ll find a quiet connection to the land here.

Come enjoy the lake. Walk the grass. Watch the sky. We’d love to share our slice of North Texas with you.
