Welcome to Long Farms!
Our farm is situated in the Northeastern corner of Kansas just minutes from the Kansas-Missouri-Nebraska Tripoint. We have about 550 acres of rolling agland with hardwood creek bottoms and brushy fencelines. Included in our available acreage, we have about 80 acres of leased ground from our neighbor, which features another awesome stretch of creek bottom with dense tree cover.
While our pheasant and quail population has been pretty sparse over the past couple years, our turkey population is strong. We are set to have an excellent spring season for gobblers, primarily Easterns, along with doves and potentially deer in the Fall of 2023.
We currently are not offering lodging on site; however, hotels can easily be found in Hiawatha (17 miles) or Falls City, NE (20 miles).
We are looking forward to hosting you!
Great looking, "step-back-in-time" property here! Small ag fields surrounded by very heavy, brush-covered and wooded fence lines and gullies! Looks like textbook turkey quail and Whitetail turf! In fact, we did see a dozen turkeys while on my initial visit!

Had a great time dove hunting and almost got the limit before noon. Awesome properties for all kinds of hunting. I enjoyed meeting Sam and he was great to communicate with. I can’t wait to get back again.Reviewed by Guest on September 2023

Great place for a late season turkey hunt. Wasn’t successful but we heard turkeys. We just didn’t have enough time to be successful on a farm we never had hunted before. Sam was great. He checked in on us to see how things were going and gave us some helpful information on the farm. We look forward to trying his place next year.Reviewed by Guest on May 2023

Sam has a beautiful property in the northeast part of the State of KS and he was very helpful in helping us set up our game plan. Great rolling agricultural hill threaded with strips of timber lined gulleys. We were able to roost the birds the night before our hunt and set up pretty close to them. Lots of gobbles as the sun came up. The birds flew down to the ag side of the timber instead of where we were set up on the pasture side and we talked with them for about 30 minutes before they decided to go silent and move off. We moved and set up on the ag side of the timber and again had a lot of gobbling bet we were unable to coax them in to gun range. Sam has 3 separate pieces of ground listed and we saw turkeys on two of the 3. Need to Polish up on my calling skills for the next visit to Sam’s!Reviewed by Guest on May 2023
