The 6C Cattle Ranch is a proud Montana farming and ranching operation about an hour east of Missoula! With a blend of working ranch ground, irrigated agriculture, and mountain cover, the ranch offers a large-scale Montana hunting experience!

Important Regulation Info: 6C North is located in HD 291, which is a General unit for bull elk and whitetail, and a permit draw for mule deer bucks.

The North part of the ranch is 2,800+ acres comprised of grassland pasture, smaller hay fields, timbered mountains, and brush-filled draws. The Hoover Creek runs through the western portion of the parcel, while some scattered ponds/reservoirs and seasonal drainages provide water throughout the rest of the property.

This piece is particularly well-suited for deer hunting, with natural travel corridors connecting feed to cover. Elk use the ground as well, though deer activity tends to be more consistent across the varied terrain.

Camping is permitted on the property with no hookups, allowing hunters to stay close to where animals are feeding and traveling.
