Nestled in the Powder River Breaks, Alkali Ranch spans rolling prairie, scattered meadows, and wooded draws along Beaver Creek. The landscape blends open country with pockets of cover, creating ideal conditions for spotting game at a distance and planning careful stalks across the breaks. Large cottonwoods and green ash trees line portions of the creek and draws, providing roost sites for turkeys and travel corridors for wildlife moving between bedding and feeding areas. The terrain encourages hunters who enjoy covering ground, glassing from elevated vantage points, and working through the draws where animals tend to hold.
