The Ballensky Ranch is a 7,000-acre working cattle ranch right off Interstate-94. Our vast acreage is a great location for all types of hunters! We have an abundant population of antelope with opportunities for turkey, waterfowl, and whitetails.
Antelope hunters have seen good success here at the ranch over the years, along with late season waterfowl hunts, where in a given day it's not uncommon to see 2,000 geese in our winter wheat fields.
We also have a portion of ground right on the Yellowstone River, which is home to some mature whitetail bucks. We are offering archery hunts this Fall. The riverbottom makes for some excellent fishing opportunities with potential for camping along the river as well.
The ranch is located just under two hours from Billings and about twenty minutes from Miles City.
