Be Still River Ranch
Be Still River Ranch is conveniently-accessible, yet secluded 66 acres of prime riverfront property. With the Yellowstone River bordering the acreage to the north and the Stillwater River bordering the acreage to the west, the ranch is home to diverse populations of wildlife, including whitetails, Merriam's turkeys, waterfowl, along with excellent fishing opportunities.
The ranch is located in Montana's Absarokee HD 575, which is a general unit for whitetails. The ranch also represents Area 5 for spring turkey and Central Flyway Zone 1 for waterfowl.
The ranch offers the potential for classic riverbottom hunting for Montana whitetails and Merriam's with ample cover in the trees and various water sources throughout. The property consists of probably 80% timber (not too thick) with various paths throughout.
In addition to hunting, the ranch offers easy access to both the Stillwater and the Yellowstone for flyfishing. With about a mile of riverbank, there's plenty of runs to choose from, without having to hike up-river to get to a spot.
The ranch is located just outside of Columbus, about 5 minutes from the town center and interstate access to I-90.

I had the opportunity to explore the property during a pretty warm summer day. As I walked around, I came across 3 different groups of deer in the trees, spooked several ducks off of the water that flows through the property, and found many turkey feathers. Tracks and sign that I came across makes me believe that game is here often.
