Beaver Creek Bottom Farms
Beaver Creek Bottom Farms is an 840-acre property with land in both Chickasaw and Calhoun County. This is a hunter's paradise, with thick wooded cover, water sources, and food plots. Not to mention an abundant population of Eastern wild turkeys. I've been on this property for over 45 years, during which I've put a lot of effort into managing the property to keep the gobblers and other wildlife coming back year after year. The farm features a good amount of hunting amenities, like stands and elevated blinds that are situated over some of our open ag plots, which are highly trafficked food sources for birds.
Lodging is available as an add-on to your package for multi-day stays for $100 per night. The cabin is an awesome place to bring a couple of hunting buddies for a weekend, while also giving you the ability to wake up on-site and hit the blinds.
The farm is located about two and a half hours from Jackson and about 45 minutes from Starkville.

We had a good time hunting on Stacey’s property. As a landowner myself, I noticed the efforts put in to try to make the property as productive as possible. Stacey was more than accommodating and genuinely wanted us to have a successful trip.
Reviewed by Guest on March 2024SPStacey PWhat a great group of guys, Whit, Ricky and their sons. I wish the elements were a little more accommodating. The outdoors creates many challenges when we walk into their world. We plan for the experience to kick in because that is all we know. The wise man knows that with all the knowledge that is put into a plan doesn't mean it works out as we expect to. We can only control what we can control even when we put ourselves in what we call our environment. Every step we make creates a consequence of our actions moving forward, sometimes we move a little too soon. The love of the hunt creates experiences that no one can take away. I wish the outcome of killing a gobbler would have happened. These guys know there is always an opportunity that could go either way. I thank you for visiting us and I hope you got something positive out of it like I did. I'd have you back at any time. "Wisdom is the knowledge experienced once passed on" Whit thanks for time spent.

We visited Beaver Creek Bottom Farms for a quick two day hunt. Stacy met us at the property and showed us around. He even got my truck unstuck. He was a phenomenal host and we greatly enjoyed our time with him. The camp is rustic but comfortable and awesome for a group of buddies wanting to get out. We heard and saw turkeys on both days but were unable to get them away from their hens! I'd love to come back and give it another try in the future!

Can't say enough about Zach and his crew from the moment we met. Zach, gives a whole new meaning to Respect, when it comes to property. He sure knows how to leave a lasting mark. Never to forgotten. Our interaction with everyone was second to none. Troopers for sure knowing that hunting is a priveledge and not a gift. We had some tuff hunts in each area hunted. Great trip at Beaver Creek Bottom Farms for Mississippi Eastern Turkey hunting-- when I arrived Stacey gave me a lay of the land and some good options for hunting locations across his 800+ acres. I immediately felt welcome, and enjoyed 2 days of hunting the property. I had activity with some morning gobbles in the bottoms, and was able to draw a gobbler and hen into a field on an afternoon hunt. Saw multiple turkeys on my trip and able to see a some turkeys fly down. I was impressed with their operation and the trapping they are doing to continue building turkey numbers within these woods in future years to come. I will be back here. Thanks Stacey, Wes, and Blake for a great time spent on the property
Reviewed by Guest on April 2024SPStacey PWe enjoyed Austin visiting Beaver Creek Bottom and battling with our eastern turkeys. I hope his experience was accepting for him as it was for us. I hope we showed him what MS is known for, the hospitality state. We would love for Austin to come back and call them.up again. Thanks to landtrust for making it easier both parties to come together and enjoy His outdoors.

Stacey was a wonderful host and met with him several times during our stay. He is a hunter and helped as much as he good with info on the property. Cabin on the property was a nice touch since the nearest hotel was 30-45 min. away. No TV, but wasn't a problem as we hunted all day. Nice little restaurant 5 min. away. Birds were very tight lipped as we didn't hear a single gobble in 3 days. We were able to bag 1 Tom, as he came in silent. We may have been a little early in the season? Total we saw 1 tom and 15 hens all in one group. Enjoyed our stay there.
Reviewed by Guest on March 2024SPStacey PWhat a super group of guys. These guys were troopers. I believe they had the most multiple elements to contend with so for. Their perseverance paid off with a no sounding weekend from the birds with one kill. I hope you had one for the memories. Thanks for mine. Thanks to land trust for putting good guys on my land. What a great opportunity to share what's His with our brothers in the great outdoors. Indiana Boys would be welcomed back to Beaver Creek Bottom.
Reviewed by Landowner on March 2024 The two of us in our party had a great time visiting Beaver Creek Bottom Farms and meeting the landowner family. They were great hosts with decades of knowledge about the area. They were available for questions and guidance at all times. The land is classic north central Mississippi bottomland/timberland with an abundance of wildlife and habitat, surrounded by miles of agricultural land. The tract is contiguous for the most part and hunt areas are not far from camp. Consider bringing your side by side. Their camphouse is rustic but cozy with all the basics and was great for our needs. This was our first hunt of any species in Mississippi and we enjoyed the experience.
Reviewed by Guest on March 2024SPStacey PDavid and Braxton were super outdoorsmen. Their respect for our property and to us were second to none. They were easy to talk to and understanding. They helped us in so many ways to learn more about what could be expected when catering to others in a constructive way. I appreciate their ideas and have applied them to date. If they book at your place take it from me, welcome them in. A huge thanks to land trust for looking out for both sides. The trust is there and look forward to future bookings.
