We're seeing good numbers of doves and even more quail on the farm this year.
Apart from the pivots, the farm's main habitat is scrub brush, where bird hunters can find doves and quail.
The irrigated portions of the farm are the best spots to hunt for birds!
While we do have some tree presence, cover is limited on the farm so dogs and sportsmen should be prepared to put in the work.
Bird dogs are welcome! Please note that if you're hunting with dogs you will need to bring some dog boots due to sand burrs being bad in some areas.
