Straddling the Woodson and Coffey county line, just under two hours from Kansas City, Big Creek Ag offers two distinct parcels tailored for whitetail and turkey hunters. Tract 1 is an 80-acre mix of grassland and cover, while Tract 2 is a 160-acre stretch featuring a live creek. Both parcels total about 240 acres and are located less than 5 minutes apart. 

The properties are located in Unit 14 for deer and Unit 6 for turkey.

The 80-acre parcel is primarily native grasses, scattered ponds, and about 3 acres worth of mature tree cover. Our neighbors to the east have plenty of cover, so wildlife will move through this parcel frequently to get to and from the cover. The three ponds provide a solid water source.

Just a short drive away, the 180-acre tract offers a wide-open feel with rolling pasture bisected by the South Big Creek that serves as a key travel corridor for both deer and turkey. The riparian zone offers shaded bedding areas and movement routes, particularly during the rut or spring gobbler season. Native grasses add concealment while still allowing enough visibility to glass and pattern movement, especially around the creek draws. The creekbottom cover represents about 18 acres of the tract.

Access across both parcels is straightforward, with open pastureland and manageable terrain suitable for ATV use or vehicle access in fair conditions. Whether you're posting up near water on the 80 or catching cruising bucks along the creek on the 120, these tracts offer complementary hunting setups within a quick drive of one another.

Hunters will get access to both parcels.

Property is about 45 minutes from Emporia and about 1 hour and 45 minutes from Kansas City.
