Located in the Cross Timbers ecoregion where prairie converges with woodlands, Buckeye Ranch has pasture areas surrounded by deciduous forests, which provides habit for various wildlife species. Thick cover is available in the wooded areas along with abundant woody brush in edge areas. The land also holds multiple primary water sources, including ponds, creeks, and streams. 

Tent camping is available on the property. If you decide to lodge elsewhere, Wewoka is just a short drive away and provides all needed amenities.
