Bucks and Bobwhites
Our Buck and Bobwhite property here in Stafford County is a great location for sportsmen to hunt in the Heart of Kansas. We farm milo on about 80 acres of land that's been in our family for four generations since 1915. This is prime habitat for whitetails and bobwhite quail. Our cropland is split in two by a thick shelterbelt, about 30 yards wide, that spans nearly the full length of the farm. Our southwest corner also consists of dense tree cover, while the eastern border of the farm is mostly brush.
We do have a game cam on the property and will continue to update pictures of deer on our listing as they come through! Quail can be heard whistling all the time on the farm as well!
Permits for quail are valid statewide and are available to both resident and non-resident sportsmen. The farm is located in Unit 5 for whitetail and is open for archery, rifle, and muzzleloader hunts this Fall.
Hunters looking to stay overnight on the farm are welcome to bring along an RV. There's ample space along the southern edge of the property and off the side of the road.

The bobwhites were whistling during my entire property visit. Many deer trails were observed winding their way through the trees. Not a giant property, but it should yield some big results.
