Located on Central Missouri's Salem Plateau and intermingled with Mark Twain National Forest lands, our first-generation family farm offers 238 acres of rolling pastureland and creek bottoms. Situated less than 30 minutes south of interstate access to I-44, and about an hour and a half from Springfield, the farm provides easy access to our two private parcels (158 acres and 80 acres each) in addition to adjacent National Forest lands, making the property hunt way bigger than our acreage may suggest!

We are a cow/calf operation primarily, so our habitat is a blend of open pasture, scattered food plots, and a network of ponds and stock tanks. We are located just north of the small town of Plato in Texas County, Missouri.

Here at Capowski Farms we have healthy populations of deer, wild turkey, predators, along with doves and squirrels. 

We are open to most all sorts of camping on the property; although, we don't have any hookups. We've seen rooftop tents or truck campers be the best way to stay overnight on property.
