Our property is made up of two parcels, separated by a county road, which both border Mark Twain National Forest lands.
Our 158-acre parcel is made up of about 75% timber, while the remainder is rolling pasture and creekbottom. Because of the cover, turkeys will spend more time on this parcel.
Our 80-acre parcel is made up of 95% rolling pasture, with a few patches of scattered tree cover. This parcel is bordered on two sides by neighboring timber, so turkey movement tends to be more transitory.
