Located in the western Catskills just outside Arkville in Delaware County, NY, the historic George Farm offers 137 acres of rich, wooded terrain with a legacy dating back to the original Hardenburgh Tract in the 1900s. Though the farm hasn’t operated since 1943, the lapse in human activity has transformed this land into a haven for wildlife. 

The terrain is classic Catskill country: rolling timbered hills, dense creek bottoms, and a smaller meadow set with a box blind that offers ready-made opportunity. Old logging trails wind through the woods, providing access by foot or ATV. Dry Brook, a trout-bearing stream, runs along one side, while a natural spring flanks another. These consistent water sources, paired with native forage and ample cover, support healthy populations of big and small game throughout the season.

This property is part of New York’s WMU 3A and offers excellent prospects for whitetail deer, black bear, turkey, and ruffed grouse.
