I volunteer at free camps for kids offered by Kicking Bear Ministry. I have helped 100's of kiddos around the country shoot their first arrow with a bow.

I mentor a handful of boys each year. I help the boys complete their hunter safety as needed and with some of the boys we work on neighboring farms during the summer removing old fencelines, trees, brush from fence lines, woodlines or mow grass.

Every year I mentor kiddos during the youth deer season and help kiddos chase tom turkey in the spring.

Next year I will be moving to using a recurve bow to hunt whitetail. My goal is to someday harvest a 125" buck on state land from the ground.

I spend the winter months, hiking, scouting, shed hunting and hunting coyotes. Seeing a coyote work his way into a set during the day is so cool but seeing the outdoors thru today's thermal equipment at night adds a whole new experience.

During the months of April and May in between chasing the turkey I trap coyotes for a large sheep farmer. During this quest I cover close to 9,500 acres. Trapping coyotes is a true labor of love and springtime is such a great time to be outdoors everyday.

If I'm not in the woods I spend time fishing on the Mississippi River. The river offers great fishing year round.

I live in the country and the outdoors plays a special part of my life everyday. In order to not have regrets of over doing it in the outdoors I'm disiplined with my diet and workout everyday.
