Whitetail use our hardwoods for cover and food. Hunters should be aware that the flatwood pine habitat is thick. About 99% of the property is thick tree cover; however, there is a timber cut/path that goes through the property. Hunters might find some action with deer moving through this corridor. Neighboring fields provide good food sources as well, so hunters may catch deer activity moving in and out of the fields back into our tree cover.
Hunters are welcome to bring a blind or a mobile stand. Please don't nail anything or cut trees when setting up the mobile stand.
