Hunt cow elk at Cow Creek Land & Cattle.
The Cow Creek flows through our western parcels, splitting about 2250 acres. The creek makes up the boundary between Montana Big Game management units 690 and 621. We have about 1,150 additional acres in HD 621.
Note: We are intermingled with several thousand acres of BLM ground, which is publicly accessible to other hunters. Access to our private acreage will be exclusive; however, there may be other hunters on the BLM.
Our ranch is situated between the Bears Paw Mountains to the northwest and the Little Rockies to the east. The Breaks can be found along the southern boundary of the ranch.
Come prepared to hike, as drive-in access will be limited to designated roads only.
Disclaimer: Be cautious of gumbo conditions when the roads get wet.
It is imperative that all guests remain bear aware and bring bear spray during your trip.

House Description
This is a bare bones cabin for those not needing all the comforts of modern amenities. A bed frame is available but it is encouraged that you bring your own bed roll or cot. Additionally, a wood stove is provided to help keep you warm on those cold fall nights. Supplies will be provided to chop wood if needed. **check in to cabin at 11 a.m. - check out at 9 a.m.
