C.V. Pilson Dove Hunting | Richards Field
Our ag fields have crazy bird numbers. It's like cheating! It's the perfect storm for dove hunters!
Our Richards Field is currently in mixed produce.
You and your group will have exclusive access to the field you book. There may be other groups in our other fields. We've set up our dove hunting this way due to feedback from past hunters, where the hunting has been good, BUT birds have just flown from field to field. With this new setup, groups on each field can push birds back and forth.
If the dates you want are unavailable, please take a look at our other dove fields:
About our Farm:
We are proud to be a 5th-generation family farming operation about 30 miles outside of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Here at the farm Sweet potatoes are our specialty! We grow, harvest, clean, sort, and pack thousands of pounds every season. In addition to sweet potatoes, we grow a wide range of produce including strawberries, melons, peppers, tomatoes, squash, and more!
As the margins for farming continue to slim each year, we have to look for ways to become more sustainable. We are excited to partner with LandTrust to host hunters for dove hunting. This is another way to allow us a better opportunity to continue the family heritage and farming tradition for this generation and the next.
For off-property stays, Southern Pines is 16 miles southwest and Fayetteville is only 29 miles southeast.
We love farming and look forward to sharing a little bit of our farm with you!

I love my family and I love to farm! I'm 32 years old and just looking to keep the farm around for years to come. Been growing produce around here for a long time and my father has before me. Always see plenty of good wildlife around the farm.
