Located just outside the small town of Oberon and only six miles south of Minnewaukan, Oberon Duck Pond is located in the heart of North Dakota’s renowned Devils Lake Basin: one of the most sought-after regions in the Central Flyway for migrating ducks and geese. Our family duck pond is surrounded by pasture and bordered by cropland.

The farm centers around a large pond that draws waterfowl throughout the season. Birds filter in from the surrounding ag land and wetlands, creating ideal conditions for morning shoots over decoys. With good road access, hunters can easily unload gear, set up spreads, and settle in for productive hunts. 

The property has some solid upland potential as well, with decent opportunities for sharp-tailed grouse and pheasant depending on seasonal movement and adjacent crop harvests. 

This property also serves as a strategic base camp, located just six miles from the Round Lake boat ramp on Devils Lake, perfect for combining field and water setups across the area.
