Lots of wooded hillsides with grassy plateaus provide great huntable terrain. I saw a nice flock of turkeys at about 50 yards.

I am a family man and an avid outdoorsman. I have lived in the Manhattan area for over a decade now and love what this unique landscape has to offer! I started my love for hunting as a young man chasing upland birds around the state. I took up bowhunting as a teenager and have been learning and perfecting the craft a little more each year. Today I bow hunt just about anything. I also have a love for catching channel cats and flatheads out of the Kansas River and local lakes.
