Lots of wooded hillsides with grassy plateaus provide great huntable terrain. I saw a nice flock of turkeys at about 50 yards.

I am a family man and avid outdoors man. I have lived in the Manhattan area for over a decade now and love what this unique landscape has to offer! I started my love for hunting as a young man chasing upland birds around the state. I took up bowhunting as a teenager and have been learning and perfecting the craft a little more every year. Today I bow hunt just about anything. I also have a love for catching channel cats and flat heads out of the Kansas river and local lakes. I enjoy having the chance to meet other people that share and have passion for the outdoors like I do!
