Elk Ridge Ranch is a 1,240-acre ranch in Fergus County, Montana, about 30 miles north of Winnett. This is beautiful country with a history of strong wildlife populations and a reputation of being a highly-saught area for trophy-sized elk.

Our acreage features a wide variety of habitat with wide open ag fields and brushy draws. We have two shed blinds set up on ponds, which are a hotspot for elk and antelope. These blinds are great places to set up for bowhunters.

In addition to our 1,240 acres, we also have deeded access to a section of state land, which is a breeding sanctuary for elk. We also border over 35,000 acres of BLM on the northern edge of the ranch.

Prior to your hunt, either myself or a local outfitter will give you a tour around property, take you to blinds, and provide with info needed to have a successful hunt. Your hunt is DIY and unguided, and your group will have exclusive access to the ranch for your dates without anyone else out there; however, I prefer we have this conversation to ensure everyone is on the same page and ultimately has a memorable experience!

We will not be offering lodging at this time. Please inquire if interested in bringing along an RV during your hunt, and we'd be happy to see if we can accommodate you.
