Bruski Ranch

Nearest Town, Ekalaka, Montana
12,000 acres
Lodging Available

This beautiful property is located in the very southeastern corner of Montana. The ranch is 4 miles west of Ekalaka, MT. Bruski Ranch is run by Joe Bruski and his wife Sonja along with their son Ryan and daughter-in-law Abbey Bruski. They enjoy working on the ranch alongside each other as well as Ryan and Abbey's 2 girls named Bekka and Harper Bruski. They are the actual 'bosses' of the place.

With 12,000 acres of grass and pasture land, there is ample opportunity for success! The land has multiple water sources including some reservoirs, dams, and livestock tanks. There are some tanks with wire cages to protect birds and other small wildlife. We are proud to work with the NRCS to help preserve the habitat on our land! Additionally, we have a few shelter belts and draws with trees to create diverse opportunities across the ranch.

We see a plethora of antelope that run together throughout the property. The land is also the home to many whitetail, coyotes, fox, and turkey, which are frequently found in the hay yards. In an effort to preserve our buck and pheasant population, we will restrict access to these particular species for the time being.

The ranch has a plug-in access spot for camping and/or parking your RV. Otherwise, Ekalaka is only a few minutes away. We have no minimum number of days required for your booking; however, we are capping trips to five days. Sportsmen can slaughter in the pasture and we have a dump site to throw away hides and carcasses.

We have had great success with hunters visiting the property for over 40 years and they are like family to us. We want to build strong friendships with sportsmen who show respect for the land and animals, as well as those who show interest in continuing the relationship for years to come. For us, communication is vital. We run a large amount of livestock and require our sportsmen to check in about which fields/sections they are allowed to access when they come. We believe that with this communication, we will all enjoy access to the land and will look forward to more bookings in the future!

We love to hunt, but it's not just about the trophy bucks to us landowners. It's about population control, land respect, animal respect, gun responsibility and so much more. It's about building relationships and communities. We take pride in the ability to hunt so we must respect it so everyone can enjoy it.
