Whitetail are the dominant species here, using the property's elevation changes, timber cover, and creek bottom for year-round movement. Bucks frequently travel the ridgelines and funnels between bedding areas and the lower fields, especially during the rut. Several stands are positioned to take advantage of these patterns, and the network of trails makes it easy to slip into position without spooking anything.
Guests are encouraged to coordinate ahead so that we can walk the property with you, point out stand locations, and share some of the insight that only comes from years spent on the land.
We have 175 acres with nearly four miles of trails winding through hardwoods, creek bottoms, and ridge tops.
The habitat features a mix of dense timber, rolling hills, a mid-sized pond, a separate watering hole, with a seasonal creek weaving through the lower elevations. These natural features support strong whitetail movement and provide good bedding, forage, and travel corridors. A network of cut trails makes the land navigable by foot or ATV, and guests will find several established blinds and tree stands placed in proven spots, thanks to 35 years of hunting experiences and insight from family and friends.
Lodging in the Chalet:
The on-site chalet accommodates groups up to 8 and serves as a welcoming basecamp. Tucked away at the end of a private drive, the house features four bedrooms, 2 full and 2 half baths, a fully updated kitchen, multiple living areas, and a game room with vintage touches, including a 1970s pool table and classic board games. We have 3 TV's and Starlink WIFI. Outside, enjoy two level deck with gas grill, a firepit under the stars, or cast a line in the catch-and-release pond.

Landowner Rules: Please take a moment to review our house rules before your stay: •No Smoking in the house. •No Smoking in the woods. •Please dispose of gut piles in the woods at least 50 feet from lodging, campsite, clearings, and trails. •Do not smoke near open doors or windows. Smoking and vaping is allowed only in designated outdoor areas provided with receptacles. Do not burn candles in the house. No fireworks allowed. •We welcome you to explore the many trails on the property – it’s one of the best parts of staying here! Only ATV's are allowed on the trails. 4WD vehicles are recommended on the drive to the Campsite. •We do our best to maintain the trails, but this is a large, natural property. Fallen trees, washed out paths, and uneven ground occur. Please use caution and explore at your own risk. •This is a wonderful place for kids to play and explore, but with so much space it’s easy to get turned around. The pond is a "swim at your own risk" area. We do not allow swimming in the small pond located near the campsite. Please keep a close eye on your children at all times. •Kindly respect our property lines which are marked with red paint or ribbons on trees. •Fires are permitted only in the designated fire pits and only during times when no local fire ban is in effect. No open flames during windy or dry conditions. Never leave a fire unattended, and be sure it is fully out before leaving or turning in for the night. And please, burn only wood and paper. •The lower level storage room, garage, and outbuildings are for owner access only. For your safety we kindly ask that guests do not enter those areas. • Please exercise care with furniture and do not move furniture other than dining and outdoor chairs. •Please do not place food or beverages on the pool table. •Do not flush anything but toilet paper.
