Here you can spend your day casting your fly in the sparkling clear lakes of the famous Axolotl lake, Twin Lakes, Resevoire lake, Blue lake or your private pond, hiking to the top of a lush green paradise, watching the abundant wildlife, or just doing nothing at all, all while enjoying the rustic elegance that is Fire Tower. Whether you choose to stay in our unique 3-story Fire Tower, cuddle in our Bear's Den, or step back in time in our luxury Trapper's cabin, your experience at Fire Tower Ranch will leave you refreshed and rejuvenated. Lodging in the Fire Tower:
The ranch's namesake is a three-story rock tower of beauty! It sleeps six with a king-size bed (first floor) and two bunk beds (second floor). The third-floor balcony provides an amazing view of our private pond and the most amazing 360 vistas of four different Montana mountain ranges. You will not want to leave!
Lodging in the Bear's Den:
The top floor of this cozy cabin will transport you back in time with the modern conveniences we all love. The cabin sleeps up to four with a queen bed and a daybed/trundle combo. It features a small kitchenette area with a mini fridge and an outside grill. Sit and watch the wildlife while you sip your coffee.
Lodging in the Trapper's Cabin (inquire for more information):
This rustic off-grid one-room cabin is nestled in your own private aspen grove. The nearby Bucher creek and seclusion make this cabin perfect for a romantic weekend away. There's plenty of wildlife viewing from the front porch. The cabin sleeps up to four, with queen bed and two XL twins in the loft. Our Modern 'outhouse' and outdoor shower is an experience no one can resist!

Fire Tower Ranch is the perfect location for sportsmen looking to experience Southwest Montana at its finest. Our 379 private acres border prime access to 10,000 acres of BLM land and 377,000 acres of the Beaverhead National Forest. The ranch is located on the northern slope of the Gravelly Range and on the southern slope of the Tobacco Root Range. Fire Tower Ranch is prime hunting land from the front porch of this beautiful and unique lodging experience in the Madison Valley. We have all the qualities of a high country big game hunting camp with the comforts and amenities of a high-end lodge. Plus, we're also just a short drive from the historic town of Virginia City and Ennis for a fun shopping day or for dinner.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful locations I have been to! Views of 5 mountain ranges (on a clear day you can see the Tetons), pristine and well-maintained timber, and lodging that will blow your mind! Big bulls and bears, this is a wildlife haven. 50 minutes from West Yellowstone Gate.

A truly unique one of a kind off-grid cabin, with all the privacy of a beautiful mountain valley you have all to yourself, as all the amenities you'd want or need. Although the weather didn't cooperate for the planned trip to allow glassing for bear, still had a great trip. Pets being allowed was a plus as was the 3/4 wrap around deck allowing for plenty of extra room. The host, Chris was very responsive to questions and helpful, meet at the highway turn-off to allow following him into the property on a well maintained road. I'll be checking dates for a future return trip.

This property is absolutely incredible. Our group had the best time. The landscape is amazing, the accomodations are amazing, and the hospitality was amazing. Can't wait to go back.

I have hunted since i was able to hold my head up in my dads backpack. I love all hunting, being in the outdoors is the only place I want to be. My ultimate pashion as a hunter is Shed Hunting.
Since purchasing this property and getting to experience the views and wildlife around us we realized early on we wanted to share this experience with other sportsman.
