On top of our mountain you can live in the moment and in the adventure, escaping the day-to-day stresses of life. 

Here you can spend your day casting your fly in the sparkling clear lakes of the famous Axolotl lake, Twin Lakes, Resevoire lake, Blue lake or your private pond, hiking to the top of a lush green paradise, watching the abundant wildlife, or just doing nothing at all, all while enjoying the rustic elegance that is Fire Tower. Whether you choose to stay in our unique 3-story Fire Tower, cuddle in our Bear's Den, or step back in time in our luxury Trapper's cabin, your experience at Fire Tower Ranch will leave you refreshed and rejuvenated. Lodging in the Fire Tower:

The ranch's namesake is a three-story rock tower of beauty! It sleeps six with a king-size bed (first floor) and two bunk beds (second floor). The third-floor balcony provides an amazing view of our private pond and the most amazing 360 vistas of four different Montana mountain ranges. You will not want to leave!

Lodging in the Bear's Den:

The top floor of this cozy cabin will transport you back in time with the modern conveniences we all love. The cabin sleeps up to four with a queen bed and a daybed/trundle combo. It features a small kitchenette area with a mini fridge and an outside grill. Sit and watch the wildlife while you sip your coffee.

Lodging in the Trapper's Cabin (inquire for more information):

This rustic off-grid one-room cabin is nestled in your own private aspen grove. The nearby Bucher creek and seclusion make this cabin perfect for a romantic weekend away. There's plenty of wildlife viewing from the front porch. The cabin sleeps up to four, with queen bed and two XL twins in the loft. Our Modern 'outhouse' and outdoor shower is an experience no one can resist!

Fire Tower Ranch is the perfect location for sportsmen looking to experience Southwest Montana at its finest. Our 379 private acres border prime access to 10,000 acres of BLM land and 377,000 acres of the Beaverhead National Forest. The ranch is located on the northern slope of the Gravelly Range and on the southern slope of the Tobacco Root Range. Fire Tower Ranch is prime hunting land from the front porch of this beautiful and unique lodging experience in the Madison Valley. We have all the qualities of a high country big game hunting camp with the comforts and amenities of a high-end lodge.
