Creekbottom MT Merriam Hunt just outside Big Timberat Flying 7 Ranch
Our acreage is set up nicely for turkey hunters looking to bag a Montana Merriam. We have consistent turkey activity along the Upper Deer Creek in addition to our irrigated hayfields, which are are a food source. Turkeys will often hang around the corrals and pastures if you can call them out into your decoys!
Fall and Spring availability.
Turkey hunters should have success setting up a ground blind along the edge of the timbered creek looking out into the hay field.
The ranch is located in Area 5 for spring turkey. The ranch is a General area for Fall turkey.

Had a great time driving around the property with Dan. We saw three flocks of turkeys, a half-dozen whitetail, and about 20+ ducks on the canals. Property is easily accessible.

Landowner Rules: All gates left as you found them. This is an active and working ranch, so we may be out and about, especially on established roads, so avoid the roads if you're trying to put the "sneak" on. Please be mindful of livestock while hunting, especially when shooting. Also be cautious of shooting direction of the highways, buildings, and center pivot irrigation system.
