Set in the rolling landscape of Wayne County, Missouri, Fuchs Farms offers 460 acres of thoughtfully managed land along two miles of the Black River. Our family is committed to regenerative ranching practices that enrich the soil, support wildlife, and create a balanced environment where cattle, sheep, and native species all thrive. This is more than a working farm — it’s a living, breathing ecosystem.

The property is a mix of upland woods, river bottom timber, and open pasture — ideal terrain for wildlife and livestock alike. Towering oaks provide shelter along the higher ground, while the fertile bottoms along the Black River support dense vegetation and offer a reliable water source year-round. Natural forage throughout the property sustains both our herd and the local deer, turkey, and small game populations that frequent the land.

While Fuchs Farms does not currently lease for hunting, it provides exceptional access to fishing, birdwatching, photography, and immersive farm experiences. Guests are invited to explore the land, cast a line in the clear waters of the Black River, or join us for a behind-the-scenes look at regenerative ranching — including moving cattle, watching our sheep dogs work, or learning about how we manage our land for long-term ecological health.
