The Geary Ranch has been a family-owned and operated cattle ranch since 1951. For decades, cattle have roamed the native prairie lands, feeding on the mesmerizing grasslands and hay bottoms with the backdrop of mountains in the distance. However, the ranch is taking a quick break from cattle ranching this year due to drought, leaving this 400-acre property open for recreators to explore freely. 

There are three dams on the ranch, which attract a diverse population of birds such as sandhill cranes and much more! The property is adjacent to 640 acres of landlocked state land that you can access through the ranch. We also frequently see deer, coyotes, and elk wandering through in the late fall.  

We are happy to offer access to our camper on the ranch, which comfortably accommodates three people. The camper is set up with sewer water and electricity, and allows easy access for those interested in early mornings. We can be made available to help retrieve harvest if necessary and have a place to clean/store animals for a duration of time. There is also meat processing close by.

Grass Range is just 10 miles east and offers alternative lodging arrangements, while Lewistown is 20 miles to the west. We have no minimum or maximum number of days to book a trip.
