The total make up of the 136 acres is about 100 acres in row crops that get cover cropped and sometimes grazed in the late fall/winter/early spring/with about 10 acres of grass, and 27 acres of timber. We also have two ponds and a small creek that makes up the eastern border of the property.

We are located in Dinwiddie County.

For those looking to pursue small game, rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, and possum, thrive in the timber and field edges.

Make sure to double check regulations to ensure your booking falls under an in-season date if your hunting a species with a season. 

Other notes on regs:

Permission must be in writing for use of electronic calls for raccoons. I can draft up a template that I can quickly sign for every guest that wants to use electronic calls. Lights may be used as long as the light is not attached to or cast from a vehicle. Night vision scopes and laser sights may also be used.

Gills Bridge South sits adjacent to Ft. Barfoot (formerly Ft. Pickett), a military training base with 40,000+ acres of land. This farm is in close proximity to the impact area with very limited hunting access.
