Enjoy access to 240 acres of diverse agricultural land. Spread between three parcels, each about a half mile apart, the farm offers opportunity for hunters of all types. With this listing, you will have opportunity to bag as many deer as you have tags for.

The property includes woods, brush, open pastures, alfalfa hay, corn, and planted annual forages.

We are an operational farm and will have to check, feed, and move animals each day. Normally this falls between the hours of 8am and noon, but will be restricted to areas actively housing animals at the time.

This property falls within Indiana's Deer Reduction Zone. As such, Archery hunting with a deer reduction license opens on September 15th, 2023 and remains open until January 31st, 2024, and firearm hunting with a deer reduction license is open from November 18th, 2023 until January 31st, 2025. Deer Reduction Zone bag limit is 10, of which one can be antlered only after first bagging an antlerless deer. Land Details

Food: Agriculture, Meadows, and Natural Forage
Our land is a mix of natural hardwoods, improved pastures, and annual forages. Our woods include oak, walnut, hickory, and cherry. Fencerows and woods edges are plentiful with mulberry trees, raspberries, and blackberries. Our pastures are plentiful with alfalfa, red clover, and white clover. We plant annual forages such as sorghum sudan, turnips, radishes, and sunflowers....

Water: Livestock Tanks, Rivers, and Ponds
One of our properties borders over half a mile of Turkey Creek, a seasonal pond is located on our southern property, and we have over 100 energy free stock waterers installed across the farm....

Shelter: Hills, Woods, Shelter Belt, Grasslands, and Brush
Our farm is heavily fenced, relative to the surrounding area. These fence rows harbor trees, shrubs, and other vegetation for game cover as well as containing stock impact to a small area -- typically, short grazed pastures are less than 100 yards from tall, dense vegetation on the opposite side of a fence row. We practice stockpile grazing, which leaves as much forage as possible standing at the end of the growing season that our sheep slowly eat over winter. Our pastures contain many species of tall forage, such as orchardgrass, and we very seldom mow any pastures....
