Our diverse wildlife population makes for great hunting!
We have an abundance of whitetails, antelope, black bears, and mountain lions. The ranch also features a small population of mule deer. Elk, while not as common, have been seen on the property during rifle season.
Any game harvested will need to be retrieved by foot.
This package includes a complete rifle hunt for a minimum of 2 sportsmen, a shot at any legal game species, and a place to park and plug in your RV/Camper.
Deer:
Hamm Ranch is in Unit 315 for deer, which is a general deer unit.
Montana residents can purchase a tag over the counter, but non-residents must apply for tags.
For Deer, non-resident sportsmen with 0 pts have a 54% chance of drawing and a 71% chance with a big game combo.

Cottonwood Creek runs through the northern section of the property with grazing pastures in the south. This place is a haven for deer and upland birds.

Water Hookup
As long as we aren't using the pump nearby for our cows, folks are welcome to hook up to it. Usually during rifle season the temperatures do not allow for continuous hookup to water. However you are welcome to fill your tanks from our frost free hydrants and then disconnect.
