Hunt Montana mule deer in HD 590.
We've seen a lot of interest here at the ranch for mule deer, with our reasonably close proximity to Billings and the fact that 590 is a general unit for a buck.
To manage the deer numbers and ensure continued buck quality, we will be offering a limited number of hunts this year. We also ask that you do your best to harvest only mature bucks, 4pts or larger.
Habitat is awesome muley ground: draws, pine ridges, coulees, and grassland pasture.
Seasonal ranch reservoirs and livestock tanks are solid water sources for the deer. The Hawk Creek runs through the ranch as well.
Mule deer are commonly spotted in the bluffs, using the draws and brushy terrain for bedding.
Guests must book for the total number of members in their group, regardless of if they're planning on harvesting. This ensures all members participating in the hunt are covered for insurance purposes. Any wives, girlfriends, or children who won't be participating in the hunt are half-price.
