Rifle hunt Montana bulls in HD 590.
Guests must book for the total number of members in their group, regardless of if they're planning on harvesting. This ensures all members participating in the hunt are covered for insurance purposes. Any wives, girlfriends, or children who won't be participating in the hunt are half-price.
Habitat is prime elk country: draws, pine ridges, coulees, and grassland pasture.
Seasonal ranch reservoirs and livestock tanks see elk herds frequently. The Hawk Creek runs through the ranch as well.
This is a draw unit for Bull Elk.
We typically see about 4 bulls in the 350-400" range over the course of our archery and rifle seasons. Smaller bulls are around as well. Please use best judgement when harvesting bulls, and do your best to harvest "mature" bulls and let the younger bulls grow.
Bulls use the cover of the timbered breaks and coulees during the heat of the day, moving through our open pasture and water sources in the early mornings and late afternoons.
