This package is only available during LATE shoulder season. No early season cow hunts.
Guests must book for the total number of members in their group, regardless of if they're planning on harvesting. This ensures all members participating in the hunt are covered for insurance purposes. Any wives, girlfriends, or children who won't be participating in the hunt are half-price.
Habitat is prime elk country: draws, pine ridges, coulees, and grassland pasture.
Seasonal ranch reservoirs and livestock tanks see elk herds frequently. The Hawk Creek runs through the ranch as well.
Shoulder season is open for general tag holders or hunters with an over the counter elk B tag.
Herds of elk use the cover of the timbered breaks and coulees during the heat of the day, moving through our open pasture and water sources in the early mornings and late afternoons.
