This is a really neat turkey spot out of Loma where three rivers (Teton/Marias/Missouri) converge making for lots of ideal turkey habitat. We'll routinely see flocks of close to 50 birds on the property. Hunters have had good success in years past along the riverbottom or close to the pastures. Some of the hunter feedback we have received is that the tall bluff overlooking the entire property is ideal for scouting flocks, enabling for more effective hunting.
Turkey hunters will most likely find Merriam's in this part of Montana.
When you book a hunt of more than one day, we will block out three days in advance of your hunt (if not already booked) to give the ranch a rest between hunts. Because we don't book back to back, guests are welcome to check in the afternoon of the day before to get oriented and scout.

Bio
Greetings from Todd and Petra, owner/operators of Heart Rock Ranch, in Loma Montana. We specialize in raising hair sheep for the premium lamb meat that they produce. We also keep cattle, pigs, chickens, turkey and geese. We are blessed to live and raise our two boys in this special place that has so much to offer.
Todd is an avid hunter and fisherman and the boys are not far behind. We enjoy hunting whitetail and muleys with both rifle and archery. This area has also provided us with exciting hunts for wild turkey, pheasant, sharptail grouse as well as ducks and geese. The Missouri river is nearby via dirt road access. We regularly head out on the jet boat to catch Walleye, and Northern Pike. Simply put, we are living our dream in this wonderful place.
We enjoy sharing this slice of heaven with family and friends who visit often and have recently come to share it with LandTrust hunters as well. It has been a 100% positive experience to host and we have found LT hunters to be fantastic people.
