We have a steady flow of both Whitetail and Mule Deer here at the ranch. Hunters can take advantage of our Teton Riverbottom access in addition to our higher ground which opens up into rolling sage brush hills. We also border a chunk of 5,000+ acres of BLM lands as well. We have several tree stands situated for bow hunting and two ground blinds that have .
When you book a hunt of more than one day, we will block out three or more days in advance of your hunt (if not already booked) to assure the ranch can rest between hunts. Because we don't book back to back, guests are welcome to check in the afternoon of the day before to get oriented, scout and check out anytime of the last day.
Our neighbor across the highway processes wild game in a fully set up butcher shop. While some processors may take weeks to process, his focus is to turn your order around in time for you to take it with you. Last year he added the same quick turn around on european mounting.
We see pheasant, hungarian partridge, sharptail grouse, duck and geese around the ranch (all in season during some of the deer season), but dont feel there are enought birds to offer a specific bird package; however, during your deer hunt, you are welcome to bring a shotgut and hunt any in-season upland bird or waterfowl as well.

Bio
Greetings from Todd and Petra, owner/operators of Heart Rock Ranch, in Loma Montana. We specialize in raising hair sheep for the premium lamb meat that they produce. We also keep cattle, pigs, chickens, turkey and geese. We are blessed to live and raise our two boys in this special place that has so much to offer.
Todd is an avid hunter and fisherman and the boys are not far behind. We enjoy hunting whitetail and muleys with both rifle and archery. This area has also provided us with exciting hunts for wild turkey, pheasant, sharptail grouse as well as ducks and geese. The Missouri river is nearby via dirt road access. We regularly head out on the jet boat to catch Walleye, and Northern Pike. Simply put, we are living our dream in this wonderful place.
We enjoy sharing this slice of heaven with family and friends who visit often and have recently come to share it with LandTrust hunters as well. It has been a 100% positive experience to host and we have found LT hunters to be fantastic people.
