Hidden Stream Farm
Elgin, Minnesota, United States
40 Acres
Hidden Stream Farm is a fourth-generation family farming operation in Southeastern Minnesota's Wabasha County near the town of Elgin. Located about 20 miles outside of Rochester and about 13 miles from interstate access to I-90, our farm has timber, riverbottom, and croplands available for hunters this season.
With 40 acres right on the North Fork of the Whitewater River, the farm is mostly cropland, about 90%; however, the eastern boundary is all riparian habitat with timber and water. The cropland provides year-round food sources with organic hay, corn, soybeans, and wheat along with conventional corn, and soybeans.
The farm represents turkey area 501 and whitetail area 643. Coyotes can be hunted as well.
The farm is also a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Birdwatchers will appreciate the diverse species attracted to the fields, river, and wooded areas. Stargazing on clear nights offers breathtaking views of the Minnesota sky, free from city lights. Hikers can explore the scenic landscape around the farm, while those interested in long-range shooting can take advantage of designated areas for distance target practice.
Best of all, we have an additional 80 acres for guests interested in photography to take advantage of.
We also raise and sell meat birds, egg layers, pork, and beef cattle to local restaurants and retail customers, along with home deliveries and shipping nationwide. Please inquire if you're interested in taking home some locally raised beef or pork during your visit.
