The Huff Ranch is a prime turkey hunting spot in Eastern Montana. Located just south of Roundup a couple miles off US-Highway 87, this a convenient location for folks making the short drive from Billings.
The ranch is situated along the northern edge of the Bull Mountains, so our terrain is mostly mountainous with heavily timbered sections. In the midst of this timber, we have ag fields, which is a great food source for the abundant wildlife in our area.
This Spring, the ranch should be turkey hunters haven. We have a ton of Merriam's that hang around on our pasture ground traversing to and from the timber and cropland.
We are outdoor recreators throughout the summer. We are always open to new ways for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy our land, so please send us an inquiry and we'd be happy to see if we can accommodate your requested activity.
We will occasionally see a bear transit through the property. also elk,mule deer and whitetail frequent the property.
The ranch is about a 45-minute drive from the Billings City Limits and within an hour of I-90 and Billings Logan International Airport.
We don't have lodging available on the property; however, about 7 miles away from us a neighbor of ours has a couple of reasonably-priced VRBOs that guests are encouraged to check out!
