I was wishing that I had brought my own hunting gear after running into a group of 4 real nice mule deer! They were moving their way out of the bottom and into the top fields, with a smaller group of does nearby. Jerry also mentioned that he has seen quite a few deer hanging out in the trees to the south of the farm yard. The various tree rows that are around the perimeter of the fields are enticing for the pheasants and grouse.
