The property is in Unit 2 for turkey.
Kansas residents and non-residents can purchase a turkey permit over the counter.

The Janssen ranch is a delightful piece of property with whitetail, Turkey, quail, and small ponds for a bit of fishing as well. The family reported seeing quail the day before behind their barn and turkeys on the property in their barnyard.
