We've had successful turkey hunts at the farm in years past. This year we have over 80 turkeys that hang around the farm.
Turkey hunters will most likely see Hybrids or Merriam's here in this part of Nebraska. There's no guarantee what subspecies you'll find, however, as populations vary year to year.
K & C Farms is a family farming operation in Southeast Nebraska's Gage County, about 7 miles north of the Nebraska-Kansas border and 50 miles south of Lincoln.
Our property is about 155 acres of row crop fields and prairie grass. We also have some areas of dense timber, especially along the Otoe Creek, which runs through the farm.

At this time, we are happy to accommodate multi-day bookings; however, guests will need to commute from Beatrice (18 miles) or Marysville, KS (19 miles). Camping and RV stays will be permitted on a case-by-case basis (dependent on season and weather). We are also within a mile of the Big Indian Recreation Area, which has camping and RV spots available.
