Hike the beautiful prairies of Southeast Montana on our 10,000 acre cattle ranch. Escape from the hustle and bustle and disconnect in nature.
SEE: nature, rolling hills, prairie grasslands, cattle, birds, antelope, deer, rabbits, snow in the winter, green grass in the late spring, naturally growing trees, WIDE OPEN skies (there is nothing like the skies of Montana, it's why they call it the Big Sky Country)
HEAR: silence, cows mooing, wind blowing, nature in its purest element
TOUCH: the earth (grounding)
SMELL: extremely fresh air (no smog out here, no polutants, just fresh air), grass, earth
TASTE: Fresh well water from the Fox Hill Sands
This will be a complete DIY package. No frills. Little cell phone service on the ranch. Come to disconnect from civilization and reconnect with nature and yourself. I recommend camping, or staying at a hotel in the nearby town of Ekalaka, MT (yes, you do have cell service and wifi there, it's 2024 afterall).
Warnings:
#1: We do have rattlesnakes from approximately June to October, so wear appropriate clothing for hiking.
#2: Our weather is very dramatic. We can go from -40°F on Monday to 55°F on Wednesday. Sometimes in January we have four feet of snow, other years we have no snow and it's 60°F. Check the conditions before booking and plan accordingly.
