The McCann Creek Ranch is a sprawling property located in Cherry County, Nebraska, just under an hour from Valentine. The ranch features a mixture of Nebraska sandhills and timbered canyonlands with creekbottom. We are also situated right on the Niobrara River, which flows through the ranch for about 3 miles. The ranch's southern boundary shares a border with the Samuel R McKelvie National Forest.

The ranch is the near-permanent home of a large herd of elk living here year-round. The herd has seen some excellent bulls taken in years past; in fact, last year, of the 14 allocated bull tags for Unit 6, 7 were filled here at McCann Creek Ranch. This is great hunting combined with good company and breathtaking scenery.
